In Paris, Governor Carreras met with the Argentine Ambassador in France

As part of her work agenda in Paris, the Argentine Ambassador in France, Daniel Leonardo Constantino, received Governor Arabela Carreras this Saturday.

During the working meeting, Carreras explained to Ambassador Constantino the strategic vision that led to the nomination of San Carlos de Bariloche to host the 2027 edition of the World Exposition, under the topic "Nature and Technology", two characteristics that identify the city and Río Negro.

The Governor said to the Argentine diplomat the importance for Bariloche and the province of Río Negro of its candidacy for the World Expo, confirming its condition as a provincial and national technological pole for the development of the knowledge industry, with the important feature of the natural environment that characterizes the city.

Governor Carreras continues to take steps to obtain the support, through the Embassy, of the member countries of the Bureau, with the aim of achieving the necessary votes for Bariloche to be the chosen venue.

"We talked with the ambassador about the centrality of the green hydrogen issue in the European agenda and we established lines of action for the joint work of the projects of the Province of Río Negro", said Governor Carreras. "We met with a very proactive Embassy in all issues and especially interested in the energy issue," she added.

The Executive Director of the Ente de Desarrollo de la Cordillera (ECORN), Laura Totonelli and the President of the Board of Directors of the Industrial and Technological Park of Bariloche (PITBA), Lorenzo Raggio, were with Governor Carreras. The Minister of the Embassy, Raúl Comelli and the Secretary of the Embassy, Micaela Finkielsztoyn, also participated.

On Monday 28th, the President of the Province of Río Negro will present her speech to the authorities of the International Exhibitions Bureau to support San Carlos de Bariloche's candidacy to host the 2027 World Expo.

She will return on Wednesday 30, bringing forward her trip by one day to be present in San Carlos de Bariloche on December 1 to participate in the meeting of the Federal Tourism Council.
