The presentation will be on November 28 at a meeting with 170 delegates of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), in which Argentina will support the project that has the city of Río Negro as a candidate.

"We are going to support a project that, in case of being elected, will change the economic matrix of the Andean Region", Carreras did not hesitate to announce in an interview with LU19 Radio.

The Governor, the National Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens and the Mayor of Bariloche, Gustavo Gennuso, as well as the Argentine Ambassador to France, Leonardo Costantino, pointed out "these are global events with the presence of many countries that exhibit the latest in technology and alternative energies, and in this context, Río Negro has great possibilities".

"It is a very big challenge, but the evaluation of the European Commission to our proposal was very positive and now we have the last instance of defense to get the votes of the rest of the countries," concluded Carreras.

Expo 2027 is an event that will bring together countries from all over the world, from a platform of meeting and discussion among nations, proposing an opportunity to rethink how to face global problems.

Advances, innovations, developments and cultural aspects related to nature and sustainable energy will be shared. The project was developed by the three jurisdictions -Municipality, Province and Nation-, with the aim of hosting Latin America for the first time in history.
