Ministry of Labor started a training course in Sierra Grande

The opening was attended by the Minister of Labor of Río Negro, Jorge Stopiello, together with the Secretary of Employment and Training of the same department, Francisco Pereda; secretario general del sindicato de trabajadores hoteleros y gastronómicos (UTHGRA, in spanish), Roberto Vargas and the legislator Roxana Fernández.

The training is promoted by the province as part of the “Trabajo más Futuro” (Work plus Future) program. It has a duration of 20 hours, distributed in 4 hours per day, during 5 days in two sessions, one in the morning (from 9 am to 1 pm) and one in the afternoon (from 4 pm to 8 pm); it also includes theoretical and practical activities and certificates will be awarded at the end of the course.

Stopiello highlighted the interest generated by the course and said that "this is the first step of a whole training program related to the Green Hydrogen program, which will require not only workforce for the structural project but also for the indirect jobs it will generate".

This same training will be carried out in San Antonio Oeste, Los Menucos and Viedma.

"This event reflects what the Green Hydrogen project promoted by Governor Arabela Carreras means: a project of magnitude that requires neither more nor less than people who can work and deal with its various aspects, and in this regard we must also highlight the interest shown by people of Sierra Grande as well," stated Minister Stopiello.
